Star Trek Gambling Machines by GameCo

Casino game developer GameCo has signed a licensing deal with CBS Consumer Products and will develop casino games based on the popular science fiction Star Trek franchise.

The first Star Trek titles will be developed fall 2017 and the first title to hit the casino floors will be a Deep Space Nine video slot. The deal was brokered by Richmond Management Group and provides GameCo access to all of the Star Trek TV series, including; Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise.

“This fan-favourite franchise has been entertaining people across the globe and is established as one of the most iconic and popular brands ever,” said Rich Maryyanek of Global Business Development at GameCo Inc.

“We are excited to work with CBS Consumer Products to bring a space battle action game to casino floors that highlight the entertainment value Star Trek is known for.”

GameCo is a new player to the casino game industry, only last year they have launched their first games in Atlantic City. 2017 will certainly outperform 2016 because they plan to deploy at no less than 10 titles. The group has specialized in skill-based casino games, which are key in drawing in younger players as well as extending playtime on each machine.

‘Danger Arena’ is a first person shooter game the company introduced on casino floors last year, goal of the game is to shoot a certain amount of enemies and get rewarded for this in cash. This kind of game will definitely be a good basis shoot some alien villans in the Star Trek property Question is: will this attract a next generation?
